UX designer
Hello.
I'm a UX designer learning code.
I'm currently learning to code by doing a full stack course taught by the lovely Dr. Angela Yu. I'm really enjoying the languages used in creating websites. The aim is to have a better understanding of web development to allow me to communicate better with the frontend team.
This is my first attempt at using HTML / CSS to build a website. Previously I have used pre-formatted or webpage builders to create sites. As I progress with my knowledge I will update this page.

I'm an irish born designer with experience across several design disciplines.
Originally an interior architect and exhibition designer. For the last 10 years I have been working in the graphic design and print industry.
In 2020 I transitioned to UX Design and attained a Professional Diploma with the UX Design Institute accredited by Glasgow Caledonian University.
With over 20 years in the design industry in client facing roles, I bring this experience to UX and look forward to my new career path.

When i'm not working I often spend my time drawing. With my background in architecture I tend to draw a lot of buildings. These are mainly done for clients who wish to have homes drawn as gifts to loved ones.
